Kim Korven
Practice Areas
Kim has an interest and expertise in elder law including estate planning, wills and trusts, personal care agreements and guardianship applications. She also has an extensive real estate practice.
Education
Kim received a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction in sociology from the University of Regina in 1990. In 1994 she was awarded a Bachelor of Law degree with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. Kim was called to the bar in Saskatchewan in 1995. She is a certified mediator having been trained with CDR Associates in Boulder, Colorado.
Professional Involvement
Kim is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association both provincially and nationally. She is a member of the National CBA Elder Law Section and currently is the Chair of the South Saskatchewan CBA Elder Law Section. Kim is a frequent lecturer on matters related to elder law. Further, Kim has written the Bar course materials on purchase and sale of residential properties and condominium law.
Community Involvement
Away from the office, Kim serves as an assistant Judo coach with the Senshudokan Judo Club. She is actively engaged in the activities of her children.
