Practice Areas
A partner in the firm with experience in civil litigation, today Mary focuses her practice on family law. Mary has sought out training in collaborative law and interest-based bargaining; although useful in many areas of the law, collaborative law principles are of particular assistance in family disputes. Mary combines her knowledge of the law with an understanding of the need for empathy and compassion when working with families who face legal disputes. She has extensive experience in property division, custody, visitation, and child and spousal support, as well as adoption, and matters involving adult dependants.

Mary received a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 1984, returned to the U of S to complete a Certificate in English, which she received with High Honours, in 1988, and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction in 1992. She was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1993.

Mary is committed to staying current in and contributing to her profession. She is a member and past executive member of the Collaborative Lawyers of Saskatchewan Inc. and serves as Chair of the Canadian Bar Association, Family Law South section.
