Practice Areas
Greg is a partner in the firm and one of Robertson Stromberg Pedersen LLP’s tax law specialists. His expansive knowledge of the intricacies of both corporate and personal tax law is the foundation for the primary focus of his practice in assisting clients, both businesses and individuals, in compliance and minimizing the tax they pay. He also maintains his practice in corporate, commercial and business law, as well as wills, estate planning, powers of attorney and health care directives.
Education
Greg graduated Cum Laude from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Administration degree in 1976 and received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1977. He was called to the Bar in Saskatchewan in 1978.
Professional Involvement
For more than 20 years, Greg has shared his expertise in tax law with his colleagues, presenting to Canadian Bar Association, Saskatchewan Legal Education Society Inc. and Continuing Legal Education seminars, covering a broad range of topics including adapting to the implementation of the GST, to farm succession planning and cross-border taxation issues. Greg stays current in his profession by being an active member of the Regina Bar Association, the Law Society of Saskatchewan and the Canadian Tax Foundation. He is a past chair of the Canadian Bar Association Tax Wills and Trusts Section, southern Saskatchewan, and a past council member of the CBA’s Saskatchewan branch.
Community Involvement
Greg volunteers his time and talents to several non-profit organizations in Saskatchewan.  He is a past president of the University of Regina Alumni Association, the Great Plains Trans Canada Trail Association, the Saskatchewan Trails Association, the Victorian Order of Nurses, Regina Branch and the Oliver Knowles District of Scouts Canada and a past council member of Christ Lutheran Church in Regina.  He is a member of the University of Regina Senate and Board of Governors and is Vice-President of the Regina Ballroom Dancing Club.  In recognition of his contributions to his community, Greg received the Canada 125 medal in 1992 and in 1999 was honoured with the Saskatchewan Legal Education Society Inc.'s Outstanding Volunteer Award for southern Saskatchewan.
