Shane is an associate lawyer with a focus on civil litigation, working primarily on employment, real estate and insurance contract disputes; personal injury and general negligence claims; and defamation matters. Before joining Robertson Stromberg Pedersen LLP, Shane worked as an associate at a national law firm in Ottawa, a Legal Analyst with the federal Department of Justice, and a Public Relations Officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Education
Shane received his Bachelor of Arts degree with Great Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 1999 and his Bachelor of Laws degree (Section française) from the University of Ottawa in 2002. Shane was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2003 and the Saskatchewan Bar in 2004.
Professional Involvement
Shane is committed to staying current in his profession to be able to provide the best representation for his clients. He is a member of the Saskatoon Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association (Civil Litigation group), Association des juristes d’expression française de la Saskatchewan and the Saint Thomas More Lawyers’ Guild.
Community Involvement
Shane contributes to the community in a variety of ways through his involvement with the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon, including coaching hockey in the Kinsmen inner-city hockey league. Shane is also an active member of the Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs, and his church.
