Jennifer's practice focuses on legal disputes that may ultimately end up in court. Jennifer participates in all aspects of the litigation process and has experience in insurance, personal injury, transportation and family law.
Education
A University of Saskatchewan graduate, Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies in 2000 and her Bachelor of Laws in 2003. She was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2004.
Professional Involvement
Jennifer is dedicated to staying current with her profession. An active member of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA), she is past Chair of the Young Lawyers Section, Saskatoon District Member-at-Large for the CBA Saskatchewan Counsel, is a member of the CBA Trial Lawyers Association and has participated in CBA workshops. Jennifer is also an executive member of the Saskatoon Bar Association. Jennifer has shared her knowledge of the law as a speaker with the Public Legal Education Association and as a lecturer to trainees in the Saskatoon Free Legal Clinic Family Law Volunteers.
Community Involvement
Jennifer’s commitment to her profession is mirrored by her commitment to giving back to her community. She is a long-time volunteer weekly program host with the community radio station in Saskatoon, CFCR, and is Vice President of the Saskatoon Community Radio Society. She is a member of the boards of directors of the Saskatoon branch of the Osteoporosis Society and Persephone Theatre, is involved with United Way of Saskatoon and Area and is a Senator of the University of Saskatchewan (elected in 2005). She is involved in policy development for various political and non-political agencies and has participated in several forums on democracy, the environment and gender equity in support of that work.
